I am extremely fearful of any and all dental visits, and the dentists and hygienists are always very patient and understanding! The front-desk staff are also always polite and welcoming.

I need more pain killers during procedures.

He was willing to work with me and was able to clearly give me the pros and cons of my procedure.

Very good dental practice in Astoria. Considering that many of my friends go just to Manhattan, since they consider that Manhattan has better dental providers, I was surprised how professional this office is. I will recommend it to my friends.

This was my first experience with this dentist and I am very happy I selected them. Everything was explained very well and they were quick getting through the procedures. Going to the dentist is never a fun experience, but they helped to make me feel as relaxed as possible and worked quickly to alleviate my discomfort.

I found The Astoria Dental Group with the help of a friend through 1-800-Dentist? I have to say I was kind of skeptical but after meeting Dr. Degel and staff I have been a fan ever since. I no longer cringe when I see the dentist, I get excited!

Wait time was a little long but they were busy. Not the friendliest office ever but not rude either. Dentist was able to figure out my problem immediately though so for that I am thankful.

Arrived, signed in, took less than 5 minutes to be called, and I was out of there 10-15 minutes later. Flawless service.

I went in to Astoria Dental for an emergency walk-in after searching online. Upon arrival I was greeted by the entire staff in the reception area and I immediately felt comfortable. Even though I had no Dental coverage, Dr. Degel thoroughly explained my financial breakdown and what my options were! I was so happy with not only the dental work I received but the quality service I was given. Astoria Dental is my new Dentist!

I have been a patient of Astoria Dental for a long time. I am pleased with the treatment and care I receive but the office and it's decor need some updating. The office, especially the treatment rooms, feel worn and dirty.

I have never been a fan of dentist after a really bad experience with a dental group I had been going to since I was a child. The particular group was interested in getting money and not the job right. With Astoria Dental Group I no longer have that experience; Dr. D explains everything and offers options. Always recommending them, but no one wants to come to Queens. LOL

I also like the email and text messages reminding me of scheduled appointments... helps keep me on track for my regular preventative dental care.

Fast, friendly, and efficient and having good teeth always helps.

I can always tell when its time to go get my teeth cleaned. Its not that they hurt or something is wrong, I just get that fresh cleaning and hope for that clean bill of heath. Sure, there is the scolding of flossing more but, well I do floss and one day I will be told to keep it up! The staff is always willing to work around my schedule!

This place is great. It's a New York dental office, so it was a little small and had some bad tile work, but the service was great and the treatment itaelf was fast and easy. Very affordable with or without insurance, anf everything is priced up front. I got a free exam and x-rays, and the cleaning was quick and cheap. I've found my new dentist.

In for a veneer consultation.. I feel there was a great understanding of my situation and am very excited to see the final result, and continue treatment in the future. I referred my fianc̩ who went for his first visit the day after, and he left very happy with the services as well!

My only negative comment would be the stairwell and the trash cans in the hall. Renovating this area would be a big improvement especially because the office is modern and the equipment is state of the art. Very friendly, however it was quite obvious that i was the last patient of the day, and BOTH the receptionist and technician were moving quickly to get me out of there and end their day.I don't think my xrays and cleaning lasted more than 25 minutes.

I love the location - the staff communicates beautifully through email (a necessity for me). The long delay I was left sitting in the dental chair being terrified was a little unpleasant - but hopefully that won't happen again. :)
